Having Some Trouble Playing the Way You'd Like?

It's very possible to find the help you need

ONLINE !

I have found that if you:

1. Are older,
2. Play a bit already, and
3. Can and will follow directions (IF they are good directions)

you likely can find some help for free or cheaply ONLINE.

You can simply write out in full in your search engine what is concerning you - for instance, "fingering problems in piano standards" or whatever it is.

I will warn of some things I've found that are more than a bit troublesome, however.

Steer clear of those that want "an arm and a leg" for their help. Real help should be pretty cheap (in terms of money AND effort) IF you already play a bit. You paid for your training years ago in what might well have been painful lessons.

Also, I have never seen anybody learn to play their favorite music from scratch (meaning can't play at all) with online lessons.

There are just too many things that can go wrong. There is just too much to learn.

There are tons of folks, however, you will tell you that their "unique method" makes this possible.

Of course, I might change my mind on this, but somehow I doubt it.

Make no mistake, changing any bad habits into good ones will require you to actually put out some effort.

Also, learning what constitutes bad (for your situation, at least) means you might have to pay something for this info. After all, any educator must survive as well.

What I often tell my personal students is "you can't buy ability with a credit card and you can't think your way to a skill."

What I hope you take away from this short post is the idea that you can solve your playing problems online IF you are qualified as I have tried to tell you above and avoid some of the pitfalls I've described.

What would help is for you to forward this post to those you know you might benefit. Anyone who reads this will no doubt thank you.
