More Things to Beware Online

There are a few "red flags" you should be aware of!

1. "Learn to play in ______(fill in the blank with your favorite ridiculous amount of time.)"

It does take some effort and time to learn to play.

I have had hundreds and hundreds of students, some with great ability (but little experience.) All took some while to learn to play.

Thus, I suspect (can't read minds) that those that will teach you to play in minutes, hours, or days, or weekends are just trying to scam you.

2. "Learn the secrets of the pros"

This is simply silly for three reasons, which are below.

First off, I AM a professional. If there was some big secret, do you really think I wouldn't tell you?

Second, do you suppose that if there are so many secrets that ALL pros know, AND that you can learn them very quickly, that the world wouldn't be awash in pro players - I mean after all this time?

Third, most folks don't want to be professionals. They simply want to learn their favorite music in a reasonable amount of time.
