Some Folks Have Questioned "Get What You Want!"

Of course, I find it a bit strange that any human being would question it.
Perhaps it was the fact I wrote it.
Perhaps nobody knew what it had to do with music.
I would think it would be obvious to all.
If you don't know what you want MUSICALLY you aren't likely to get it, are ya?
And I'm very much talking about YOU want, not your teacher or some expert at the piano store who is trying to tell you what you SHOULD want.
A while back, I had a student who came to me without a clue about this.
He expected me to set up the agenda for him, I guess.
Sorry, but as SNL used to say "Homie don't play that!"
Now I happen to think that folks should have what they want, so long as that having doesn't harm others.
But ya gotta know what "that" is, right?
