Tired of Being "Sold"? Me, too.

Here's a bit of truth that simply tells you what is real

The ""online world" is a mixed bag of lies and freebies. The unfortunately part is that in these tough economic times, folks keep going online to try to get those freebies and you simply can't learn to play for free. It doesn't work. You WILL have to invest some money, some time, and some effort.  This is NOT a problem as I will explain.

Making your favorite music is not only about the destination but about getting there in the first place. Playing an instrument could be a wonderful hobby, something you look forward to doing. But if you only look at "doing it" and not learning to do it, then you are denying yourself something fun and enjoyable. Why deny yourself in this day and age?

Lessons can be stressful, however, if you choose the wrong means of learning. I have heard from way too many students who have been cheated, lied to, and generally "sold" on stuff that doesn't work all that well. This fraud is nothing new. I have a collection of teaching sheet music which goes back to 1912. Back then, they were saying that everyone could learn complex stuff. Not so. I sincerely doubt that EVERYone could do it. As I tell my personal students, pretty much anyone can learn IF they stick to it

Today, most of liars are online and they seek to tell people only what they want to hear.

It's been my observation that only those that want to learn sincerely can stick with the subject long enough to do it. . And that's my point - learning is fun, if you let it be.
Once you have completed your training, making your own music is something you can do essentially for free forever.
